Steel Panther

ASM 2020 content was on another level that year—the budget was definitely budgeting. Lol

We didn’t just get to work with Trevor Wallace; we also got to work with Steel Panther. They are a glam metal band from LA. I personally didn't know who they were when we shot with them, but they were so amazing!!

Their wardrobe is so 80’s coded, I love it!

Since ASM wasn't held in person in Las Vegas that year, presentations and performances were filmed in advance and broadcast during ASM week. 

We shot with Steel Panther for a musical performance, but made it entertaining with more of a storyline attached to it. We shot the music video portion about five times or so before we all got tired of it lol

Steel Panther made a song about Monster Energy. They pre-recorded the song, and then we shot it like a music video. They started off the video like they were interviewing for a job at Monster. Then transitioned into singing the song, and then snapped out of it, realizing they have a job to do.

I was unexpectedly given a role in the video where I had to yell at the band to work faster. I was nervous because yelling on command is not exactly one of my strengths. But they were incredibly supportive and told me to give it everything I had.
