UNLEASHED Podcast
Another exciting project I was part of at Monster Energy was the UNLEASHED Podcast, starring Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, Danny Kass, and Brittney Palmer. The podcast launched in 2021 and came to an end shortly after the sudden loss of Dingo in 2025.
The podcast brought together athletes, artists, entertainers, and personalities from all different parts of the Monster family. Every episode had its own energy depending on the guest, which made being on set so fun because you never knew where the conversation was going to go.
Luke “The Dingo” Trembath was an Australian professional snowboarder, media personality, and entrepreneur. He had a one-of-a-kind personality, and his fun-loving attitude and infectious energy were such a huge part of the culture at Monster.
It was honestly such an honor getting to work with him and getting to know him beyond just what people saw online or on camera. He had a way of making everyone around him feel comfortable, and that energy carried into every episode we worked on.
Danny Kass is an American professional snowboarder who has competed at the Olympic level and has won a silver olympic metal. Brittney Palmer is best known for her work as a UFC octagon girl, model, and artist.
One of the coolest parts about working on the podcast was getting the opportunity to meet and work with so many athletes and artists. Through shooting the podcast, I got to work with people like Nyjah Huston, Sean O’Malley, Chloe Kim, Guapdad 4000, Breathe Carolina, and Kurt Busch.
Being around that level of talent and seeing how interviews and productions were handled behind the scenes was such a cool experience and definitely something I’ll always be grateful for.
Another part of the project I really enjoyed was getting the opportunity to shoot some of the headshots that were used for the episode thumbnails and promotional graphics. Seeing photos I shot used as the official thumbnails for episodes made the experience feel even more rewarding.
Working behind the scenes of the podcast gave me a completely different perspective on production. Even though the episodes felt effortless and conversational on camera, there was so much behind-the-scenes coordination to keep everything running smoothly.
What I loved most about being part of the project was how true it felt to the culture of Monster Energy. Nothing about it felt forced or overly corporate. It just felt like a group of people who genuinely loved what they were creating together, and I think that's what made the podcast connect with so many people.
